Is GrowthCRM free?
Yes. The core plugin gives you the full CRM — pipeline, contacts, deals, lead capture and behaviour scoring — at no cost and with no per-user fees.
Where does the CRM live?
In wp-admin. GrowthCRM is a standalone plugin (no WooCommerce needed) that adds Pipeline, Contacts, Deals, Reports and Settings screens, available to users with the manage_growth_crm capability.
How does website lead capture work?
Through a secure REST API. Your forms post to /wp-json/growthcrm/v1/leads with a secret key, and a public, rate-limited /events endpoint records anonymous behaviour — so it works even from a separate marketing site.
Can I tune the lead scoring?
Yes. You set the points for each behaviour, mark which paths count as pricing pages, and choose the “hot lead” threshold. Crossing it fires a hook other plugins can react to.
Do I need GrowthProjects?
No. The win hand-off is optional and degrades gracefully: if GrowthProjects is installed it creates a client workspace automatically; if not, GrowthCRM still assigns the client role, notifies your team and fires a documented hook.
Who owns my data?
You do — completely. Contacts, deals, activities and the audit log live in your own WordPress database. Nothing is sent to a third-party CRM SaaS.
